    Visa
application: The students should apply for the appropriate student
visa well in advance of their planned arrival in India. PMEH team will help
them out throughout this process.

   Admission,
Financial & Health documents: Ensure that all necessary admission
documents (acceptance letter, payment receipt issued by PMEH), Financial
documents (scholarship or sponsorship letters) and Health related documents
(vaccinations such as yellow fever, etc) are in order before departing for
India.

   Accommodation
arrangements: Arrange accommodation in advance (university hostels
or private accommodations). PMEH team will offer assistance to students in
finding suitable housing options.

   Travel
arrangements: : Book flights to India and plan the itinerary
accordingly. PMEH team will guide you in planning travel according to
commencement of classes in Universities. Here are the general procedures and
steps you may need to follow pre-travel:

1. Check-in:  Arrive at the airport well in advance
of your flight, typically 3-4 hours. Check in at the airline counter
and obtain your         boarding pass.

2. Security Check:  After check-in, proceed to the
security check area with your boarding pass and valid
identification.

3. Immigration:  Once through security, proceed to
the immigration counters for departure formalities.

4. Boarding:  Head to the designated boarding gate
mentioned on your boarding pass and board the aircraft at the
specified time.

   Exchange
Currency: Ensure that any currency you carry is converted to US
Dollars before you board your flight. It's advisable to exchange a small
amount of currency into Indian rupees at the airport in India to cover
immediate expenses like transportation and meals.

   Attire based
on weather: Organize your clothing according to the weather in
India, which has four seasons: Winter (December to February), Summer (March
to May), Monsoon or rainy season (June to September), and a post-monsoon
period (October and November). Since conditions can vary, it's a good idea
to check the weather for your specific location before packing.
